I’m Nick Hollinghurst, and I’ve focused my political career on promoting social democracy and sustainability. As a member of the Liberal Democrats, I believe in shaping a future where political decisions prioritise the well-being of everyone, not just the privileged few. Over the years, I have served as a councillor for Tring & the Villages. I focused on issues like sustainable energy, climate action, and refugee rights. My passion lies in creating a fairer society, one that supports social justice and takes concrete action to combat the climate crisis​.

Though I’m no longer an elected councillor, I remain heavily involved in the Liberal Democrats. I currently serve on the party’s executive committee for the East of England. I actively push for political change, urging young people to get involved because politics directly impacts everything — from education to job opportunities and housing. Now more than ever, we need fresh ideas and new leadership to tackle the challenges ahead.
