As well as displays, there is a timeline, story boards, pictures and photo’s. The building which houses the Museum tells a story too. Traditionally, animals were traded in the High Street until the then Lord Rothschild provided a purpose-built Cattle Market. In 1893 a sale room was built with an open porch to provide shelter for buyers and sellers. The buildings use and shape have changed but it is the original concept which has been adapted to house the Museum
