Carers in Hertfordshire – a Source of Help, Support and Advice for Carers in the County.

Carers in Hertfordshire is the leading charity in Herts for unpaid carers looking after a loved one, friend, neighbour or relative due to their illness, frailty mental health needs, disability or substance misuse.

Carers in Hertfordshire offers support to all careers, children or adults. whom either live or work in Hertfordshire.Carers do not have to live with the person they are looking after to be eligible to receive help and advice.
Caring is tough. It can be tough physically and financially – but of course it is usually also emotionally and psychologically tough helping someone you lovfe cope with an illness that all to often is progressive.

Carers in Herts has also organised 16 “hubs” around the county to make it easier for carers to keep in touc, receive training and support and to meet other people socially. There are three hubs in West Hertfordshire:
